“There were 13 judges for this year’s awards and I’d like to thank them for their hard work going through the nearly 200 nominations we received over the summer,” Prince George Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Neil Godbout said. “The judges were not informed who the other judges were and they did their work independently of each other through our online portal. Their scores were then put together to form our list of finalists and the category winner.”

The awards will be handed out at a gala event, featuring keynote speaker The Hon. Jody Wilson-Raybould, on Saturday, November 1, at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre. Raybould is a lawyer, advocate, and bestselling author, who made history as the first Indigenous Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. Tickets are on sale on the Chamber website.
