PRINCE GEORGE— B.C. Transit will be adding contact-less payment to Prince George buttons with the addition of Umo and the Umo Mobility App. The new app and reloadable Umo cards can have passes loaded from either the app, online, at a vendor location, or through their customer service toll-free at 877-380-8181.
Additionally, through the Umo app you can check transit times, plan your route, and find the nearest bus stop.
If you have any questions about the new service, B.C. Transit is inviting riders to learn more about Umo by visiting bctransit.com or attending one of three in person engagement events:
- Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Prince George Public Library.
- Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m at the Canfor Leisure Pool.
- Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the UNBC Bookstore.
