Pacific Coastal Airlines is now offering non-stop service between Prince George Airport (YXS) and Kelowna International Airport (YLW).
The inaugural flight took off Monday morning, marking a significant step in connecting Prince George with the Okanagan region. Operating six times a week, from Sunday to Friday, using reliable Beechcraft 1900 aircraft, this new service will make travel between northern B.C .and Kelowna more convenient than ever.
To celebrate, Pacific Coastal Airlines and Prince George Airport hosted an event featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, speeches, and gifts for passengers,.
“We’re thrilled to announce a new route out of Prince George and grow our flying into the region. Our new flight is scheduled to enable convenient day trips to the community six times a week with an early morning departure from Prince George and a same-day return from Kelowna in the evening,” said Berkan Kucukkatipoglu, Pacific Coastal Airlines Director of Commercial Planning.
